O'Donnell off back to Oz?

Heard rumours he has asked us to release him so can sign for Roosters, also a bit in the Aussie papers confirming they are trying to sign him, what a way to treat the club that has paid you massive wages while sitting in the stands injured, also didnt do pre season with his teammates was back in the sunshine in Oz.

Bitter taste in the mouth from both Faalogo and O'Donnell who have not been value for money thus far, the you look at the likes of Faiumu and Whatuira and Jammer and Drew and Costin and many before them and they have certainly proved money well spent.

Hopefully Ta'ai turns into a real gem of a signing, if O'Donnell does go would free up 1 overseas space and massive amount of dosh for salary cap!!!

When fit he is awesome. When he first signed for us he was a machine as well as being as hard as nails, if we believe we can get that out of him again then it would be madness to let him go. I did hear he was good mates with Keith, perhaps that saga has soured things for the man, but the club should be pulling out the stops to try and keep him if we think he can play to his massive potential.

Not sure we can force him to stay if he wants out, no one doubting he is a beast when out on the field but abit of loyalty wouldn't go amiss though

As much as I like him as a player, we've not seen much of him due to injuries. So in that respect if it frees up some money and the lads such as Lawrence, Ta'ai and Fergy can fill his position then I wouldn't be too upset to see him go. An announcement should be out in the next day or so.

Well played the club both by rejecting a deal unless on our terms an more importantly keeping the fans updated where possible. Happy with the season so far ;-0)

No LOD today and now its all over the web that he has signed for Sydney Roosters and we are getting someone in return.

A real shame if true, as when fit he is one of the best back rowers in the game, it would be just our luck that he will now go and have an injury free season in the NRL.

Still if he has gone, then I have good memories of some of his hard as nails performances in our shirt.
