| Who's the best we've we've got now that we've seen a few players try the position? Personally i feel Hodgson's place at full back is a cert when he's fit. | |

| Personally I would have no qualms with Thorman at FB. However, I feel he would be of better use to the side reverting to SO and persevering with Cudjoe at FB. Brown is having a far worse season at SO than Thorman is at FB.
And despite what Mr P says, I think Thorman has performed more than adequately at FB.

| Didn't think i'd say this a few weeks ago but Thorman is probably the best full back we have until Hodgson is back. Maybe instead of replacing Gatis' position which Tom seems to be handling ok, we should sign a decent full back if there are any available. IMO this position has cost us quite a few games this season which results in a try for the other team which causes the team to collapse. | |

| I find it odd that Thorman was fit to play in the reserves (at half back) on Saturday. If he was fit shouldn't he have been in the team at HKR - after all he is captain, on field organiser and our "only (senior) specialist" full back.
I haven't watched the game at HKR as I have been away this weekend - have it videoed but couldn't pluck up enough courage last night to view it - , but it would seem that we played for 20 minutes or so in each half and then capitulated (got blown away) for the remainder.
Must be time for some serious changes in team members, positions and attitudes and that includes coaching staff.

We play good rugby until they score, then heads drop and before we know it they've scored a few more tries. The team as a whole seem to be lacking the ability to dig deep when they need to.

| The amount of rumoured bust ups there has been behind closed doors these last few seasons is unreal! If the rumours are true then it should definately not be happening in a professional sporting environment, the players should respect each other and the coach... | |

| When Widnes were relegated i said at the time we should have gone for Grix, i never saw him have a bad game, i have however always rated Hodgson, trouble is we need his pace and experience on the wing. I reckon we need to buy a specialist fullback and play C Thorman in his proper position, If K Brown applied himself he could be a centre in the Newlove mould, he is filling out, and hitting the ball at pace could make some good tries for his winger. Hemmingway needs time to make the hooking role his with Hudson, he has certainly had to wait long enough for his chance | |

I agree with that, shame hodgy got injured when having a chat to JS i suggested he tried Hodgy at FB, and he said he might do, unfortunately he then got injured.

| CT should be left at what he knows best and that is SO. TBH Sharpy should have something sorted like Saints, Bradford and the other teams have, whereas we have Decent stand in players such as Hemingway's quality. He's been a reserve for the last few seasons and given his all when he has been called on. The other teams manage to field decent reserves and we have done in the past. What the hell has gone wrong? | |
