| Drew was great to watch and he has always been a favourite past Giants player of mine.
But i think re signing him wouldn't be a step forward, more like a little shift in stance. Drew was one of those players that has one awesome game out of every few. Im not saying he was ever rubbish - he wasn't, even on his off days he still played good. But good is not good enough, and lets not forget he is 33/34. We need a long term signing who can fit in and grow with the club.
That said it would be interesting to see if he was singed short term - perhaps till the end of the season.

He played 7 for Ireland and got mom in the WC.
Why he hasn't already been snapped up is beyond me. Liam was always destined to be good. His late Dad Brendan was quality as well. I kmew Liams Dad and Uncle (related by marriage). A nice guy to boot. I'd give him a chance at the Pharm any day of the week mate.

| i reckon he would be a good addition to the squad, would be happy if it happened, not sure about the fee but maybe thats the only thing that would make wakey be prepared to release him | |

I asked his dad Friday night and he says Danny is talking to a few clubs at the moment. Nothing as yet has been agreed.

Not heard the interview cos just got back from Edinburgh, but while up there I heard that Aspers and Griffin could be released this week which sounds like someone may be coming in.

In the past we have seen both be fantastic, perhaps the current tactics don't bring out the best in them?

| Browny has mentioned Brough been one of the players he is looking at LINKHas Griff has had his 1 good season he has with every club before seeming to get bored? Aspers had injuries so hard to judge , maybe Jermaine will be recalled from Batley? | |

I'm not bothered about Aspy tbh, I don't want Griff to go .. TBH if they don't perform then they have to be replaced and at mo Griff don't look interested, just going thru the motions. Big Eorl and Keith for me at the mo 8 & 10

| I noticed the link to Huddersfield was mentioned on the BBC today, not that it means a lot but i would think if Brough is coming, now would be a very likely time to anounce it, with Wakey going out of the CC. | |

| Well i wasn't commenting on how good he is ,or even if i would want him at the Giants but i take your point about today. Wigan were just two strong for wakey, especially in the forwards, and as i have said many times halfbacks rarely shine from such a position. I wish Gareth Hock played in Claret and Gold, He is quiet for periods but when he makes a move it almost always ends up with a score, He has a very difficult hard to tackle style, If Raleigh had that same style ,he would IMO be equally as good. | |

Gives too many penalties and loses his head too quickly for me Bo, would prefer someone like Wilkin myself, quite happy with what we got in the forwards at the mo though.

Yeah he does give some penalties, and tries some silly offloads but makes some devastating runs, and i would also be happy with Wilkin, but in all honesty unlike you i am not happy with our forwards, or to be more accurate ,the way they are playing, we seem to get bossed to much in most games for my liking, there are usually one or two good individual performances, but as a pack we are far from great.

If that were true i would be Astounded, and happy, there are few second rowers that bust the line like he does. though like i said i think Andy Raleigh could be as good.
