Danny Brough

Just heard on Radio Leeds why he was taken off on Friday. N.Brown said it was cos he back chatted the ref and if he does it again it'll be a bigger punishment!!

That is one thing Nathan is good at - discipline. We thought Brough had back chatted on the night. Thing is you cannot let one get away with something and not others - the same rules for all. If anyone can sort out Brough's attitude then I think Nathan can. John Kear said in his commentary on Friday that his mouthing off to officials was one side of Danny Boy as he called him.

Ultimately in any given team, there is one person on the park who speaks to the official, and that is the team captain.
Even if the ref is handing rollockings out, the captain is pulled in, with the offender listening to the officials instructions to the captain. It is then the captains job to hand that down.

Yup if he wants to be a Giant he will have to knuckle down, no backchat or moaning, NB will instill this into him eventually and a few more games in and I think we will start to see him directing the team round on the park in the right way.
It's always hard joining a new team especially midway thru the season but after a few more training sessions and games under his belt and we will start to see the real "Danny Boy"
Lets give him April, May and June to get it right as ATEOTD he has been a stand out player wherever he has gone and sure won't be any differen't at the Giants.
