| Atkins & Myler might be out for Dire on Sunday. Some say Atkins is a dummy, but to me he is a dangerous player who can damage you if you slack off for even a second.Myler is another one who I rate who can come up with a special moment to sicken you right off.
Don't see us winning tbh, lost too much fire power now with no Charlie,Big Stu & Koppy.
Goes without saying we need Eorl to be his usual brilliant self, and massive games from Ferres & Lunt.If we somehow can give Broughy and the outside backs some opportunities we know how effective they can be.
Anyone else giving us a chance of going there and winning?

| I believe!!!
We might not have had the best of times against Wire, but that has to change at some point, so it might as well be this weekend. Can't wait for it, lets get stuck in and see what happens.
Everyone needs a big game, but they did that against Leeds in the last round so no reason why they can't do it again. We have a few missing, but so do Wire. Lets see if we can get the game plan right this time.

Lets see if we can get the game plan right this time. Only problem is we are up against the master coach, who comes up with a winning game plan for most occasions. Our forwards are going to have to bend their backs, get low on collision to stop their quick ruck, because this is what they have done to us in the SL games. Some of the Dire upper bodies are huge now,Higham, especially, seems this guy has been eating a lot of steak for breakfast.Just hope we can control them on the ground wrestle somehow, but then also with Patrick as an A defender somehow I am a touch worried. They are confident in zaminer, believe they can win,we'll be there cheering them on as always.

| Looks like Koppy is going to play, that is huge for us, would have Mullally in for this one too, Fergie has been playing great, but I think he is the wrong type of player to really trouble Wire. Usual backs, Super League's best hooker at 9 prop rotation of Eorl, Koppy, Larne & Mullally, Ukuma and Brett in second row with Bruno at loose. Fuey covering hooker and loose on the bench with Jamie Cording who is a cracking defender and runs some great lines. I just think tactically JC will cause Wire more problems than Fergy, better lateral defender too and Wire like to through the ball about especially if things aren't going their way.
Wire will be considered strong favourites due to doing so well in big games in recent years, but looks like they will be short Myler, Atkins and Harrison. Still plenty of physicality and threat in there, but I fancy us to do it.

| Dint know Kops was available, good,if so then we could pick Mullally, otherwise I wouldn't have him anywhere close to this one personally, defence not good enough at this stage of his career.Agree Fergie won't trouble Wire unless somehow our props put them on the back foot, then he could do given some space, but you can guarantee he will get back into the defensive line. How we could do with Charles for this one,he is the sort of tough player that could give Dire a taste of their own medicine, but alas not available.
Patrick who has been much improved this year in many aspects is still a weak A defender as a run on prop.

| So disappointed with that performance. Wire came out all guns blazing and we couldn't keep pace. Lets hope lessons are learnt and we have a plan to counter this when the play-offs start otherwise all these fantastic performances this season and the hope generated could all end with a whimper. | |

Need a new game plan going up against the Dire in the play offs,if it happens, that is the most obvious thing. We need to be smarter even if it means gambling,to wipe that smug smile off Tony Smith's face. For example they love to hammer Jerry's exit's,so how about Jerry runs up to line, turns and passes to man pushing up,Dire thugs up for big collision are deflated, and have had doubt put into their mind about the next Jez carry, run or pass. More of the same as served up Sunday against Dire won't get us anywhere,of that there is no doubt now.
