3-2-1 Vs Warrington Empty
PostSubject: 3-2-1 Vs Warrington   3-2-1 Vs Warrington EmptySun Jul 19, 2009 5:01 pm

who were your Man of the Matches for the Warrington game?

3-Robbo, One of the best games I have seen from the livewire halfback, everytime he got the ball he was looking for the gap, the chip over in the 1st set of 6 tackles was superb and what we have been lacking against a fast moving up defence.

2-Crabtree, Very unlucky on 2 occasions not to go over for a try. His offload ability in the tackle is brilliant and his go forward is superb, justified his England selection yet again as been one of the best prop forwards in SL.

1-Hodgson.B, positionally superb again and created some very good overlaps for us with clever play.

All 17 played well against a very good Warrington side who we kept quiet and frustrated, none more so than Briers.

Ian Smith was poor today, penalty count must have been 14-2 to them? Head high shots let go and offsides. poor performance.

3 - Robinson, I agree he ran the show
2 - B Hodgson, had a fantastic game
1 - Fulton, good kicking game, strong in defence and adds a little extra to our attack

3. Brett Hodgson - probably one of his best performances at home
2. Crabtree - terrorised Warrington as soon as he came on
1. Jackson - his go forward was superb - only the silly pass across the front of the posts let him down.

Credit to Robbinson & Fulton today - both played and kicked well for a change.
Credit also to the 'junior' threequarters of Cudjoe & Lawrence who looked class compared to King & Riley.

All played really well today, think Griffin had a great game as they all did but heres my 3.

3- Jacko- WOW! His try was just pure class! He fooled the whole of the Warrington defence with his step and twirl to go in for his try.

2- Crabtree- Lifted the side when he came on off the bench, great drives as usual and his ability to pass the ball in a tackle is first class.

1- Hodgy B- He was just top class today, back to his best

Jacko well deserved MotM. He was on fire today, but there were a good few contenders with him.

3 Crabtree....usual gut busting performance from the big man.

2 B Hodgson....back to his dynamic best in the claret and gold after a few wobbles in the last month or so.

1 Robinson....was really up for it and on game, he has been getting better and better of late.

PostSubject: Re: 3-2-1 Vs Warrington   3-2-1 Vs Warrington EmptyWed Jul 22, 2009 5:03 pm

all 17 players had a great game for us but 3 stood out for me.
3- robbo- looked lively and looked like he was going to cause the warrington defenders some trouble everytime he had the ball.
2- crabtree- came on and we seemed to wake up and wanted to play rugby. unlukcy to score on two occasions and thats why hes in the england side.
1- leroy- took his two tries well and was brilliant in defence once again and took the ball in nice n hard.
