To say this lad came here with a very dodgy reputation, he is turning out to be a very good buy, There was talk of him being a very disruptive influence on teams as well as other things rumored, Not being privy to any inside info i dont know if there are any problems, but they don't seem to show if there are.

He seems to me to have settled down and he is getting more and more consistent, he tackles well, kicks well and comes up with the odd solo try. I would say that his game is better since B Hodgson went, same for K Brown as well, I'm not knocking Hodgson at all ( he was a class act ) but he tended to run everything, which often took the halves out of the game a lot.

Brown and Brough look quite good together now and with Robbo and Lunt It's not that easy for the opposition to see who's going to be making the plays, They are all good option to have especially when the pack gets on top.

Have to miss the cuptie unfortunately ( i would have loved to have gone to that ) but i would be letting some people down if i did. I can see it being a cracking game with Fartown getting revenge for the league game. With any luck Broughy and Brown will continue where they left off against Saints, Also a possibility of Mace being available.

His solo try on Saturday was pretty special, the camera shot at ground level showed it the best of all.The footwork he put on to get outside Ashe was real class, then the dummied pass to get rid of the Saints winger. The huge step to stand up Wellens and then the pace to get to the line.

Certainly seems to have knuckled down under Nathan Brown's coaching.

The best kicking game of any half back in the SL.

He's developed the 'no look' pass to the lead runner when he goes to link the threequarters.

Fans of other clubs are already saying he is a shoe in for the England number 7 shirt for the 4 Nations comp.

His talent was never in doubt, it was his attitude and outside influences....i'd like to think NB and the rest of the Backroom staff have made him see his ways now !

Yep, after at least one unauthourised absence, he soon came around to Nathan's way of thinking....
