| Should be a cracker and i personally can't wait. Can we prove on Sunday that the performance against Wakey wasn't a flash in the pan? Can we break our highest attendance for a home game? Has everyone managed to get rid of the buddy vouchers? If you need more then I'm sure the club can help you out, if not then see me. | |

| It's still very very early in the season, but silly as it sounds, this is the game that could mean the difference between us staying as we did last season or stepping upto that next level.
The Whino's have proved that they are there for the taking this season as have Stains, the Giants now need to kick onto the next level and not freeze as per last season.
Bring it on!!!!!! | |

| Really can't wait for this one got a feeling in me water that this is the game that will make our season if we win (especially considering how tight our defeats have been so far).
We are definatly worrying people at the moment the Wigan and Saints fans over here are very quiet considering the amount of flak i've had to put up with and the father in law season ticket holding saints fan who has'nt been to a game yet this year has already bagged a ride for the 28th

| I'm finding this a very tough game to call with both side coming off the back of strong performances. But I see danger for us if we aren't right at the top of our game. Just like last year Leeds have just got the WCC out of their system. They can concentrate on SL. We musn't get caught in the headlights like we did last year. We seem to be playing better away from home than in front of our own fans. Never mind, I've got everything crossed and I'm tipping Leeds to win in the Tipping Comp. | |

| I think Leeds have a great side, so it will be interesting to see how our lads fair against in my opinion the best side in the competition. Mind you they still can't defend as well as us. | |

- Huddersfield Giants are encouraging supporters to ‘get their banners in the air’ this Sunday – and be in the chance of winning a special ‘fan pack’ including a number of mystery prizes!
The banner competition has proved to be a huge hit, ensuring the Galpharm Stadium has had plenty of colour and vibrancy on match days, with a superb standard of banners created by young supporters.
The half time break is the perfect opportunity for junior fans to display their banners with messages of support for the team, its players and everyone’s favourite mascot – Big G!
During the interval youngsters will be asked to hold them aloft with the best messages winning a Giants fan pack.
Marketing Manager James Brammer commented:
“The banner competition has proved be a great success and we are delighted by the quantity and quality of banners made by our younger supporters. We try and make our match day experience as interactive as possible with our fans, and there is no doubt that the banner competition adds to the vibrancy of what is a great day out at the Galpharm Stadium for all the family, as well as the chance to appear as a banner winner in our match day programme.”

- MINUTES SILENCE BEFORE TODAY'S GAME
There will be a minutes silence before Sunday’s game against Leeds Rhinos in memory of former Huddersfield coach Brian Smith, who died this week aged 78.
Brian played on the wing for York – including in their Yorkshire Cup final defeat to Huddersfield at Headingley in 1957 – and Bradford Northern.
He then joined Huddersfield as ‘A’ team coach in succession to Henry Tiffany in November 1962, also assisting the team in a playing capacity as and when required.
He later went on to become first-team coach, helping Huddersfield win the Second Division Championship in 1974-75, transforming the Fartowners into a powerful outfit who just nabbed the title under the noses of Hull KR.
He worked tirelessly for both the Huddersfield and Halifax ex-players associations for many years, and was a leading light in organising rugby league ex-players’ Centenary and Millennium celebrations.
He was a specialist teacher of physical education with additional qualifications in athletics and spent his National Service as an Army PTI, and acted in a training capacity with Halifax youth clubs and schools rugby league
Our thoughts are with the Smith family at this difficult time.

We got 11,500 last season for this fixture, so anything near there would be good. Still we might lose a few families due to it being Mothers Day.

| hey Matt where did you get that figure from for last season as i knew it was around that but someone I know said we had 15k but that was the previous year when we got 16k. Been looking for official stats to back me up. He was asking for our estimates for the crowd today and I said it'll be just a bit more than last year aroun 12-13k but he refused to believe me! | |

I bit disappointing that, would have hoped for a thousand or so more, still their loss. Those that didn't go missed an absolute blinder. I really believe that scoreline flattered Leeds. Other than the last 10 or 15 minutes of the first half I think we really dominated the game.

Every other L**ds tackle was high and on average, they held a tackle for 7 seconds to our 4 seconds. However, we were penalised more times for holding down at play of the ball. There were more forward passes (not flat, but forward) let go by him as well. He is a poor referee.
