So what are you expecting from this game? London after a bad loss to Widnes will be out to get off the mark. Will we play our strongest line up with Wigan game the week after? What crowd are you expecting after a performance like that against Saints? All pre match discussion in this thread please. Let's start the new season with plenty of chat on here and tell all your Giants supporting friends and family about this site. Mention it on all the social network and it'll be much appreciated. Smile

London will have watched our game plan and my guess will want to get up from the defensive line more quickly. I think they will also hit the ground quickly when tackled to try ans speed the play of the ball up. They will want to make amends from the Widnes game so it will not be easy. However if we show the same energy and don't make many mistakes we will be too strong for them.

Agree with Matt, London will be no mugs and under Tony Rae are unlikely to play poorly two weeks running. It is though down to our approach and attitude, if we get that right we will win be at least a couple of scores. I expect them to play well and us to play a bit better. If that happens then something like a 28-12 victory will be better preparation for Wigan than a 50 point stroll.

The snow is coming down steadily here at the moment, but thankfully not settling on the roads. I don't think it will stop us getting to the match, fingers crossed.

Can't wait, new shirt on, excitement building, just watched the highlights v saints again. The conditions today will mean the pack are going to have to do the hard work and we will need Brough and co kicking fantastic.

COME ON FARTOWN!!!!

Interesting to read that Anderson described some of the play as 'pathetic', a rare statement when I side wins so easily, but if the players heads were down after the match, then it goes to show they have very high standards. Just hope they can maintain these high standards all season.

It's the sign of a good team when you beat a team by that score yet are unhappy with the performance.

Should think so! Forwards not a patch this week- London made easy yards / if it had been wire/Wigan from Friday we would have been annihilated. The weather and the terrible state of the pitch played a part but we will have to improve next week.
