Torn shoulder muscle mate. Sounds bad, hope he is not out too long, I think prop is where we are a bit thin on the ground.

It was. We were put under loads of pressure for huge parts of the game, partly due to ill-discipline, partly due to Bradford's tactics and surprise surprise partly due to Ganson. Yet despite all that pressure we scored twice as many points as Bradford.

| There's a Bradford fan on the other forum always going on about how if they had a Ken Davy type chairman, things would be different. It's not all as clear cut as he seems to want to make out.
Fact is Ken has been with us for fifteen seasons now,and it didn't seem to make no difference all those times they beat us down them earlier years.
Unlucky for Bradford, but whatever excuse he wants to come up with, now we have beaten them five of the last seven.
They could even have possibly won on Friday if they had any strike centres or wingers, but the simple fact is they don't.Unlucky.

| I was gutted when Nero left but looking at the squad now, would he be a first choice centre for us like he used to be? Even our NZ internationals Fats and Jammer aren't guaranteed a place n the 17. | |

| Nero's a big lad takes some handling, but is a converted second rower.Lawrence is coming on leaps and bounds, probably just as powerful.Nero's better than the other Bradford centre Sykes. There were a couple of times last Friday night when I thought if they had a stronger centre than Sykes they could have powered in,or even offloaded.Plus he came up with two crucial knock ons.
Unlucky for Bradford though if that's the best they have got just now.

| Nero seems like half the player he was when he left us. He used to make breaks for fun and had a decent try scoring record in that last season. Maybe it's the Bradford style of play, coaching or confidence, but he doesn't seem that much of a threat any more. | |

| Sykes is a Quins cast off. I know Friday night were foggy, but even his kicking was pants! | |

Didn't he hand over the kicking to Orford for the third try?

I always rated Nero when he was a Giant & was sorry to see him go, but I didn't notice anythingmuch from him on Friday. I'm glad Lawrence was given a chance as well. I'd much prefer him & Fatz at centre than Lolesi who hasn't impressed me for a long time .
