Very lucky for him and the team. I wish him a speedy recovery because we need him in the pack.

I agree about it being a big loss.

Ive never really been that big of a fan of Raleigh, ive always felt he played never more than about 70%. But the second half of last season and particularly this season my opinion hasn't half changed. He has stepped up a gear and is arguably one of the most consistent players we have. Its certainly a blow for us him being out and i wish him a speedy recovery.

Shocked Andy always (and always has as far as i am concerned) gives 100%....have you seen the players the day /evening after a game? It's not like turning out for Moldgreen, playing super league hurts! He's started running now, and hopes to be back in 4 weeks at the latest. Perhaps he'd have been back sooner if he hadn't played on for most of the game at HKR after tearing a ligament........

Sorry, i meant he played at 70% of his capabilities. I don't for one minute doubt he played at anything less than 100% effort but i always felt there was more to him - Maybe Brown has brought out the other 30% in him?

I totally agree there. Without sounding biased, Andy doesn't do off days.
I was talking to a lifelong KR fan yesterday who said that they were gutted when he came home.
For my money, we have in my opinion, the most understated player in SL.

Understated is a perfect word to describe him. Any team who has him, appreciates his ability, yet perhaps outsiders fail to see it.

Sometimes when a player puts in the ammount of effort that Raleigh does, he can get more than his share of work, in the hope or expectaition he will do something special, I'm not saying this is the case but it has happened in the past, I half think that fielden has suffured from a certain ammount of this, maybe partially of his own doing, as he used to like to play the full game every game when at Bradford
