Rumour mill in full swing that Wigan are interested in Soward. This is the sort of player that we need to bring into the halfbacks to kick us on a level, a Jamie Soward or a Kyle Eastmond alongside Danny Brough would make us a better team IMO.

If as rumoured Faalogo is off along with Brown and Gilmour confirmed would give us quite a stack of cash, could also sell Grix for mine and if we can't get O'Donnell out on the field it's a waste of big money sat in the stands.

Spend big on a halfback, get rid of Moore, get Lunt back as a Hooker, give Lee a new contract cos looks sharp IMO and he created the try against Wakefield and another chance where Mason knocked on over the line.

Get some muscle in up front, big nasty ball playing prop and reckon we have cracked it, again Rolling Eyes

Quality half back, but why would he leave the NRL at the moment? Still if he does want to come to England then we should be pulling out the stops to get his signature.

Just what I was thinking.I was under the impression that because of the increased NRL cap and the strong Aus $ just now, that antipodean imports would be drying up almost completely.

Anyway would be a real coup if we could get him,but if he comes my bet is he will indeed go to Wigan to replace Finch.

One thing though not overawed with the gaylord prancing run up to his goal kicks.

Eastmond is like shizer off a shovel (or he was) but is not a playmaker from memory, and to me that is the type of stand off we need now, someone who can control a game, put people through gaps.

Doof, not sure what's gone wrong there, but it looks like the end of his time with us can't come soon enough for him.

LOD's got another year, could they afford to pay him up in order to get rid.

Eastmond is a talented player, he is also prone to a lot of sitting in the stand, and we have enough big earners doing that already.

Soward's had a real dip in form over the last few rounds & the fans are really on his back at the moment. Many want shut, others say give him more time, but he's really under pressure.

he came on as sub last night after 30 mins and did nothing special, but before that he hadnt played for a few weeks due to injury. he was on the "nrl on fox" show a couple of months ago and they were asking him about his future and he didnt rule out super league but wigan were the team who were doing the chasing/favourites to get the signature

Ah thanks for the update. I had heard his future was uncertain due to lack of form but not the injury stuff.
