What are our expectations for this one?

Cas are under a bit of a cloud right now.My Cas supporting mate travelled to London last week and now predicts Fartown will put 50 points on the scoreboard before half time.

Really enjoying the expansive brand of football we are watching this year from our lads. Can we outclass classy Cas with our own style of classy football.

Televised games we sometimes flatter to deceive in,though complacency is not normally a problem at the Pharm.

Like to think we will get a 7k+ attendance.Doubt Cas will bring too many fans across.

P.S. heard that David Fa'alogo will be available for selection on Friday.

As long as we approach the match with the right attitude I'm hopeful of a win. However, Millward is back so it could be a positive for Cas but I hear that Orr is injured as well.

I would like to see more strong defence & an improvement in our attack & hopefully we'll get the points.

Just got around to watching the London v Cas on SLFT.

All can say is if the Cas defence around the ruck on Friday is anything like that witnessed at the Stoop, then Robbo is going to have an absolute field day.Robbo's footwork & pace as we know troubles even the best of marker/fringe defences.Even the might of the Kangaroos had bother with it.

Cas looked susceptible to the bomb too,so over to you Broughy.

As ever Cas are capable of playing some football themselves, some good tries off Rangi as the pivot.

Think you are right,Cas having 'Basil' returning from his very tragic compassionate leave will give them a lift.

Can't wait for Friday now, bring on the Fartowners,SL's new entertainers.

Same as most games this one especially at home. We are the favourites and need to play with that tag in mind. We have to take the game to Cas and want to dominate the match for long periods.

Let's get there in good numbers tonight and make some noise! Show all the possible Giants fans watching it on TV what they're missing.

I just found out (from the Examiner website) that the game is being broadcast here in the US Smile Smile Smile

But it's on a premium pay channel that I don't subscribe to. Sad

Back to listening to Radio Leeds then.

42-4. Now I'm really disappointed I can't watch the US broadcast of the game.

Fair do's to Cas they came to play, thought their forwards had the best of the opening quarter. The difference in class became evident when we shifted it wide.We never really had to build pressure, when we went to the edges we had too much pace and guile for Cas to cope with.We dropped an awful lot of ball or it could have been a lot more than 42 points. Some of our players wanted to do it all by themselves towards the end of the contest.

Our defence was once again rock solid, working hard to get up into marker and great line speed.Rangi tried all he knew yet no doubt NB will be a bit disappointed we never nilled them.

Not impressed with the reffing of Steve Ganson, recall the play off game at Warrington last year when he wanted us off the ruck in about 2 seconds max, compare that to some of the lying on he allowed last night. From one extreme to the other.
