| Been in touch with my source at the club and apparently they're in the process of making a tv advert to spread the word of this great deal. What else can be done to get us averaging 10k? Any decent ideas will be put forward to the club. | |

| As I said Ponner -and NOT being facetious ----WIN SOME SILVERWARE --and alongside this initiative I think we`d have a good chance! But THAT goes without saying --so youd best not tell em I suggested it! | |

| The tv advert is great, hopefully will get across to a big audience. I think they also need to target certain audiences. I think they should extend the deal so they can push this in the schools in September - and not just in Huddersfield. now would be a good time to target calderdale. Give out flyers to the kids who play in the school teams as these are the ones who would be more interested in going. There are already a few at my school in calderdale who come and watch the giants, a few years ago they would have been going to Bradford or Leeds. Also target the local teams, very few parents at my sons club are actually season ticket holders, many go to odd games. Get in the local gyms and sports shops. | |

| All the above ideas would help a bit although i think the numbers you would pull in from other areas are limited, but you never know, I agree with PG the well proven method of getting people to come is to win some silverware "easier said than done" but if they can win a trophy you wont believe how the turnstiles will rattle. | |

if you lived in fax and bought a ticket for 50 quid, you could just go to the big games.. leeds, wigan saints wire etc and watch as a neutral and it would still be great value

I just think if we can't attract fans from our own area ( one of the biggest in League ) we stand very little chance of pulling them in from Towns with their own teams, The sad fact is "I'm sorry to say " Huddersfield is a soccer town, The two things that would put numbers on our gates are, Winning something, and Town going down the leagues.
