And if a star player is under performing drop him and bring a second teamer in.

I would certainly settle for another Murphy.

In the Daily Express today it says the three Aussies, but also says Tony Smith has been linked with us again, getting more confusing this lol

I liked Tony Smith and wouldn't mind him back with us but I thought I'd heard he was linked with Warrington?

He is lol but he denied that when at Senior Giants Meeting last month.
when he went to senior giants we had just sacked sharp and he said what a week to turn up. the rumours will be flying lol

I think he is happy where he is myself and he is doing a good job so far.

Smithy might have passed a psychometric test, but it doesn`t mean that another coach passing it is going to be any good.
A quality coach may not answer a non-rugby related question to the satisfaction of the examiner, but what is to say that the examiners opinion is correct. ??
Load of rubbish IMO.

For the life of me i can not think of a single reason why Smith would want to come back to the Giants, That would be like taking two steps forward and then two more back, I suppose stranger things have happened.

To be fair I'd never heard of Tony Smith until he applied for the Fartown job.

But if an Aussie as we are led to believe, surely we can announce it as it is not like it will affect the other team unless he is a Coach over here and we cannot announce it?
