Huddersfield Giants have signed Ireland’s 2008 World Cup captain Scott Grix on a two-year deal. The 25-year-old utility man was a standout performer in the 2008 World Cup and is delighted to join the Giants.

Scott Grix commented:

“I’m really excited about the prospect of playing for the Giants for the next two years and I can’t wait to get started. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season training already and have great motivation to kick on for next year. “

Great signing. Did we have his brother Simon Grix a few years ago?

Nathan Brown has realised the talent pool in Super League is not vast like in Aus,so if he spots a capable player and there is a chance to do a deal he will go for it.

A bit like Mossop, shame we could not make him permanent.
