| Huddersfield Giants are back in engage Super League action at the Galpharm Stadium this Sunday (kick off 3.00pm) and supporters can look forward to some changes to enhance the Giants Matchday experience. On arrival at the Stadium junior Giants fans will once again be able to get their face painted and have a go on the interactive Community Zone by the entrance to the Direct Golf Family Stand. The new look Claret & Gold programme is on sale for just £3 and this week features in depth interviews with new Captain Brett Hodgson, Luke Robinson, new Conditioner Mark ‘Bumper’ Andrews and Head Coach Nathan Brown. As kick off approaches non-playing first team players will make their way to both stands to sign autographs and pose for pictures. On the pitch the Giants Cheerleaders, Goldstar will entertain supporters. The Giant Big Screen will boast a number of new features and animations and will also be showing highlights of the Giants opening day 30-8 victory against the Catalans Dragons. There will also be a new selection of matchday music as the teams enter the field Half time will become more interactive for supporters and junior fans are encouraged to make banners and bring them to the game with messages of support for the team. During the interval youngsters will be asked to display them with the best messages winning a Giants fan pack. The Club will also be looking for fans to take part in the new half time ‘spin and win’ game with the opportunity to win a pair of tickets for next weeks trip to Odsal as we take on the Bulls. On the concourses there will be an increased choice of alcoholic beverage with white and red wine now on sale. Magners cider will also be available for the first time and supporters will have the chance to win Magners giveaways on purchase. Commenting on the changes Marketing Manager James Brammer said: “We are always trying to enhance the matchday experience for our loyal supporters and are confident that these changes will be well received by all age groups. There is a great anticipation ahead of our home opener and we are all looking forward to seeing Nathan Brown’s Giants in action.” Primary school children go free at the Giants which means a family of four can watch the Giants from as little as £33, when adults pre-purchase their tickets. Not all the 6k season tickets will be there but saints will be bringing at least 2k! But for them to open the upper tier downstairs must be close to 4k!! So a defo 9k crowd | |
