Not sure this is a good idea, The thing about Cardiff was it was not affected by the weather, Six or seven games if it is raining could be a disaster for the pitch and everything else as well, But if it's good weather then it's a whole different ball game.

Just one point, at Cardiff we could guarantee the games would go ahead whatever the weather.
If there was a deluge for a few days there is no way they could play 7 games in 2 days. What would happen if it had to be called off, a nightmare scenario indeed if people have hotels/campsites/B&Bs booked, apart from the point of where the games would be played later and at which grounds.
Enough thought has not gone into this, it is not as though we are just going down the road for a one off game.

Imo a stupid decision by the RFL. Spend two years marketing the idea in Cardiff whilst nurturing Celtic Crusaders.... Then move it to a Rugby Union stronghold with no notable RL crowd for miles.

A arrogant and stupid decison by the RFL imo. Ill bet right now the crowds are less than at Cardiff.

I will probably book a week on a caravan site up near Edinburgh, but not buy a ticket for the games due to the unpredictability of the weather.
If the weather is fine I will walk up and pay on the day.

For me it was silly moving it, but as Stevo said on Boots 'N All last night they moved it as there is cheaper Accomodation and more of it, so the Fans might be happier.

i have been to edinburgh for both cup finals and the social scene is superb, we even stayed in the same hotel as wigan when they won in 2002.their lads were great on sun morning especially radlinski and o connor

yes the social scene was great,edinburgh is a beautiful city and great for the family, hotels are a bit cheaper.
but what about the tickets,£25 for 6 games:unbelievable
