Giants back row forward Joe Walsh has joined Championship side Sheffield Eagles on loan and will go straight into contention to face Halifax at the Shay on
Sunday.

The clubs and player beat the RFL signing deadline and Walsh joins fellow Giants Tom Hemingway, Sam Crowther, Gregg McNally and Jermaine McGillvary in the Championship.

In Championship 1 winger Richard Lopag is set to debut for Swinton as he too moves out on a one month loan arrangement.

Thought Walsh has done well for us when he played, seems strange we are looking to bring in Mossop on loan as a second row and letting a decent one go out on loan?

Mossop must ba a really good player?
