- i still call the team FARTOWN and always get the name fartown printed on back of my rugby shirts .. just look at my tipping comp, most weeks it will say fartown versus , rather than giants
the away shirt from 94/95 even had fartown printed on the back as standard.. the black millgate one think ive got that one in a draw some where

| I still have a bond with Fartown and understand the history BUT in the modern times i can see where the Giants bit is good for commercial and marketing needs. the other thing is if we start attracting more fans from the Kirklees area or further afield or if NL fans see us as their SL team then selling to them the brand of Giants will be easier than Fartown or Huddersfield even.
As long as we play in Huddersfield and have C & G shirts that is good enough for me.

Do you really think that I, or anyone, expect people to regularly travel from a different country to watch sports fixtures? Even that Adelaide chappy rarely attends these days.

Can't manage Greenhead Park at noon. Midnight would suit me better. I'll take a torch, so it's down to boomer. Either a torch or candles will do. Match referee anyone? [& don't suggest him from Red Hall!] We'll presumably need seconds as well.
