Purtill to leave Giants

Keiron Purtill is to leave the Giants at the end of the 2008 season.
He will return to former club St Helens, whom he left in 2005 to join former coaching colleague, Jon Sharp.
Richard Thewliss has stated that "He is sure that everyone at the Hudderfield Giants wishes Keiron well on his future plans. An extension to Keirons contract had been explored, but he had decided that he future lay elsewhere".

He's been landed in it, having to act as head coach with PT, but to be honest, it's another salary saving. No club needs 2 assistant coaches like we have imho.

I think maybe hvaing too many assistants was not needed.
