Sorry, but Ian Smith cost us a game tonight.
That ball off Elliott was NOT a knock on. I will bare my rear on the town hall steps to anyone that proves otherwise.

Absolutely fantastic effort from the lads tonight. Luckily for Saints Ian Smith doesn't know the difference between a ball going backwards and forwards. I just hope Nathan doesn't make those lads do the naked run at the end of the season for the effort they put in tonight.

I said i expected the youngsters to be busting a gut to do well, but that exceeded anything i had thought might happen, What a defensive effort again in the second half, and without that dreadful knock on decision we could well have won that, Saints looked poor tonight, but you can only look and play good if the other team let you, The desire to win that was great to see from the kids, The only downside was Kirmond getting injured, Raleigh looked OK, or one of the kids from tonight could do a job, I reckon Lunt did himself no harm at all,

Just put another thread up , sorry mate i hadn't seen this one.

That was probably the most obvious wrong call i have seen all season, there were quite a few strange calls but that one was very costly, The thing is , I would bet money that if that had been B Hodgson smith would have let it go. Still they did us proud.

Just my little take on REGULAR events!!

Good morning Mr Cummins – its really makes us laugh
Organise the referees – you couldn’t run a bath
Week in week out – its status quo – and life goes on the same
One eyed flawed decisions that often swing the game
A “name” team up against “the rest” and stuggling hard to score
All of a sudden – lo and behold -Lets give 6 tackles more
A fumble that goes forward ? – back -A clear rip out – loose carry
Not rocket science – you could employ - any Tom Dick or Harry
One that goes back quite clearly from a high ball – hard to catch
And its “knock on “- possession lost And soon game set and match
They went full time cos it was said that way they would improve
Watching some of them each week they find it hard to move
They get downgraded for messing up?-That doesn’t ring true because
Its soon forgotten and they get A holiday in Oz!!
10 yards? – its often 9 and 8 And sometimes even less
And who gets the dispensation Its not so hard to guess
A slightly dubious tackle – they put it on report
But “go on - take his head off Jim !!”-Its Ok – its just sport-
Seconds to run – Exciting game (I`m not saying “It’s a fix” )-
But hang on – They can sort it out- “Penalty” – in front o sticks
So get your act together all fans would like to see
The same approach to both sides
A little CONSISTENCY?? (please?)
Apply the rules the same both ways - otherwise you make a farce
Of what we call the greatest game -so get up off your …………………….chair ?
Get it sorted – you and them and earn yer bloody money
Cos from OUR viewpoint in the stands - It isnt even funny!

Mad Evil or Very Mad Sad

I felt like we had won after that game even though we didnt get the points. I was absolutely amazed at the effort put in by those lads, Hodgson at fullback only 18 looks promising as did Brown. Their enthusiasm and skill was brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that match..put me in a great mood for the week running up to Wembley...this time next week will feel sick to my stomach though as it will be near kick off time for THE BIG ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were Fantastic last night! The young guns totally outplayed the so called 'super stars'. Saints fans were coming up to us saying the best team lost. The boys should be proud of themselves! Elliot Hodgson was like having Brett on the field. Bravo to them all!

It's like we've got 2 of the best coaches in SL working together... I felt so proud of the team Baloo put out, but probably just as proud of Mr Anderson himself.
I've already watched the game twice and know I'll be watching it again soon.
These lads were so amazing and I feel gutted that I'v not been to any reserves games this season.

They were by far the better team out there, saints looked almost lathargic at points and had such a struggle to get a few points they did manage.
I was on a total high/buzz from kick off... loved how everyone wrote them off before the game even started! great game.. oh and Eddie even called our usual lot 'STARS'!!!! Wish I was there.
All of them were superb, but Alex Brown & Elliot Hodgson were totally top quality (can't get over it), I'd love to see them in first team soon.. Totally in aww of these lads. It was a win in my eyes.

A bitter pill is the loss tho Sadu, purely because of Ian Smith's downfall's.
