| A few to choose from, Brett Ferres interception sealer for me, A game we could have lost but deserved to win, the great thing about Ferres try was having caught the desperate throw in field from Richards it would have been easy to either take the tackle and points or simply run into touch, to run the length when it no longer mattered was ruthless, something I have seen from Wigan in recent years but not Fartown.
What do others think? | |

| And Eorl followed him down the pitch. Moment of the match was not seeing Sam on the team sheet. Would he have made the difference? | |

I doubt it would have made any difference as Charnley never made any mistakes at fullback and is a more than capable replacement for Tomkins .Had to be Ferres full length try for me cos he looked like he was running in lead boots near the end. Credit to the guys fitness cos last season he wouldn't have made it to the line.

I wouldn't say he had a bad game but how the hell did he get MOM.

Thius, and the ones which follow, are absolutely pointless and retard comments, both regarding Grix and RLFans. Grix has been both slated and applauded on that forum. As a poster on that forum, I deplore you call me a fool.

| Richards atempt at dtop goal before HT, smacked of desperation, Wigan always like a power play at closing time, Giants especially Fielden, and Eorl, would have fed of that, no way back for the Warriors | |

You have to be impressed with Big Eorl. He always seems to be ready to support anyone on a break. And let's give credit to the Wigan player (I think it was McIlorum) who chased Ferres all the way even though it would always have been in vain. The game was already out of reach, but he was still trying to save the try.

I'm not sure I would worry about that. First off you'll never know the answer. We've lost to Wigan without Tomkins, and we've beaten them with him. Saying you lost because a certain player wasn't on the field is an excuse not a reason. Secondly, and more importantly, it echoes of those fans of other teams who always come up with "Huddersfield are not good enough to beat __________ (fill in the blank) and so there must be something wrong." Why be negative about our own team. Don't worry about excuses why we won, just enjoy the fact that we did. Let them worry instead, about why they lost. Just my opinion.

hmmm i also post on there - and as i also posted on there - Grix wasnt the overall best player throughout the game - but I can see why he was given MOM by those who perhaps saw this. At 10-0 down wigan looked like they were going to walk all over us in attack. Grix made two brilliant trysaving tackles and defused a kick to prevent wigan scoring again. If they HAD of scored again it would have been game over and we would have lost that match. With our score before half time being 14/16 - 6 we would not have taken the two point options and wigan would not have been desperate to score in the final minutes. Not the best player - but could possibly have made the difference between us winning and losing that game.
