| we are going. eldest was supposed to be doing curtain raiser and half time but bradford have cancelled as the pitch is already in a poor condition with more rain forcast and they dont want it making any worse! following on from the way our lads kept their poise at hull I cant see a repeat of last year! | |

| I agree its difficult to envisage a repeat of last years debacle, but on a heavy pitch this will be a tough tough challenge. Glad Mason is in the squad as I suspect there will be a bit of an arm wrestle. With Langley at loose, the Bulls effectively play with 3 props, let's hope we learned from HKR | |

| Bradford seemed to have turned a corner and are playing very well. There pitch is not good and won't suit us. If the weather is bad I can see them being the favourites. We will need to take our A game to Odsal to be in it. | |

| The recent atrocious weather (if not cold and windy then wet & breezy) and a heavy pitch that no doubt will be in evidence at the crater tomorrow, doesn't really suit NB's 2012 'go wide at all costs' philosophy. He has had to compromise that style in the last couple of weeks to dominate over Hull FC.That open style suits 'summer' football.Right now it's anything but Summer or even Spring.
Going 14 - 0 down at the KC,and our forwards were getting dominated. Can't afford for that to happen tomorrow. The Bulls pack is their strength.Notice NB has brought Mason back to stiffen our own pack at the expense of Gilly.I like Gilly's mobility at prop, but maybe he's better on dry tracks.Notice Doof has picked up another knock and is omitted.Been a frustrating career for him with us.
I really want us to get one over on Bradford and their section of arrogant fans.Hope to hear the chant 'There's only 1 Ken Davy' getting sung loud and often by us.Just for the way Bratfud fans keep banging on about Sir Ken now.Funny King Ken never got a mention when they were beating us regularly over all them seasons.
As KB said int zamina last week let's do it for King Ken.

| Heard today that the statement they issued on the Giants website about selling our allocation of tickets was a lie. They sent the remaining tickets back early. | |

| Perfect wet weather footy played by the Giants in this one.Kicking Bradford back and chasing hard.We certainly have learned from previous 'wet' games when we tried to play too much football.
Master stroke to put Smurf at FB,he never made a handling error all game, which in those conditions was exceptional.
Broughy was outstanding, his general kicking game, the bust & superb cross field punt to set up the first try and then going over for one himself. The forwards stood their ground in what was a very tough 'arm wrestle' with the big Bratfud pack.Wully Bully had plenty of good field pos in half one but we tackled well enough to deny them.Their try should have been chalked off,as it was tackle complete, the ball carrying arm clearly touching the ground before the pass went out.
After that huge rain cloud went over at half time, the wind dropped away which I think helped Danny's distance kicking game.
Great individual sprint & finish, from ex-afroman,must have felt like he was running in treacle there, but they couldn't catch him.
Mention must also go to Jermaine, once again lot's of tough carries for good metres up the middle on exit sets,so valuable.
So that's 3 wins out of 4 at the crater for Nathan, not a bad record to say we couldn't win there for decades. If that's one NB has done for the club it's given the players the self belief that they can go to places such as the crater & Headingley and get the win. | |

| Hopefully people will stop saying we can't play in the rain now as yesterday we used the weather to our benefit and totally dominated the game. | |
