moment of the match v Leeds SL round 9

Yes I know I am early, but off to Headingly tonight and then away for a weeks hols early tomorrow, so my moment comes from last year and that tremendous performance - a groggy Jamie Simpson leaping like a Salmon to defuse a very tricky looking bomb. Perhaps his finest moment in a Fartown shirt.

Would say a couple of consecutive tackles right on our line during 2nd period when each time about 4 of our players got in low and prevented a Leeds touchdown.Excellent committment shown to defend our goal line.

Some amazing goal line defence won the game for us.

Having seen the tries now on VT,all of them could be considered moments of the match individually.

T1.Great build up and liked the way Eorl collapses himself to make sure he touches down.It's a long way to the ground for a big man like him.
T2.Nice break by Grix after Chan pushed up with him and sucked in 2 defenders,then Charlie stayed alive to back up Grixy and cross.
T3.Good stuff, following l to r thru the hands,with no hint of a forward pass.Typical Jerry inside kick soccer skills,well finished by Greg.
T4.The best of the lot the Greg bust,the Broughy dancing,then nice quick pass from Leroy and well finished by Jerry.

Sheer class.
