Just hope the physios can work their magic on Danny and it ends up less than 8.

I think our physios always give the longest time out to make themselves look good as they always come back earlier than predicted. Brough is a big loss, but we have quality alternatives and this just gives others a chance to shine.

why change everything ?

either give McNally a shot -or let him play at the highest level he can achieve !

It really bugs me when you have lads like Bolu and Hemingway b----ed about and finish up stifling
any enthusiasm they have for the game

Try em if youve signed em

and if they cant hack it fair enough

Dont try em --then you`ll never know!--and the fans neither!

Wigan and Saints have never done too badly giving chances to young players -and yes - we have also -but others just seem to be sidelined !

Bolu should have deffo been given more 1st team field time. Tom Hemingway did fairly well, but his lack of 1st team games didn't do him any justice at all. It is wasted talent.

I'd recall Kyle Wood, him and Robinson could alternate between hooker and half back.Luke's got a decent short kicking game for when we are on attack inside the 20 metre. He went to first receiver a few times versus Cas when DB went off,and put McGillvary over.

Grix and Cudjoe would be the two designated to handle the long range kicking duties judging by the post DB minutes last Sunday.

Tom Hemmingway came along at the wrong time imo. Whilst fans were frustrated at Sharp Hemmingway made a knock on iirc in a game that completely stripped the kid of any confidence.
Under Brown I recon TH would have gone far.

Yep, he did mate and at that age, if you get jumped on for a minor error like that, it's bound to knock the confidence out of you.
This is where being a great leader comes in. Smile

I might be in a minority here but I never saw anything from Tom to suggest he'd make it in SL. He's not even making a name for himself in the lower leagues.

No he's not mate, but I think that he was on the sidelines at our place for far too ong to be able to let his career progress as intended.

McNally to Fullback and Wood to Scrumhalf. Keep changes to a minimum.
