| I don't know if its just me or does anyone else think that Graham Horne is a bit of a disappointment?
Don't think I have seen him catch a ball this year yet. He's always giving away penalties. He doesn't make an impact for me.
Whats your thoughts? | |

| Don't rate him, never have and he's taking up a place in the 17 of a better player. NL player at best in my opinion. | |

| Yes takes a bit of working out PG, no lack of effort but as has been said he just doesn't seem good enough, when you have players like Mason and Kirmond sat about. | |

| I feel exactly the same, I wonder if he is doing the little things and the hard graft though. He must offer something for brown to be sticking with him. Never produces any moments which make me think we want him in the team but but don't him close enough to see if he is doing the majority of the tackling etc. Would have kirmond, Raleigh, Mason and ferguson before him. | |

| Workrate and versatility are the reasons he plays, whether he should play for that reason alone is another matter.
He can cover a few positions and I do think he is a decent SL player, that said with where we want to be I think you need to be better than decent.
I would keep him as a squad player but would expect him to be playing in about half our matches as cover rather than being in with a full squad.

| I wasn't impressed when he first played for us, but he has grown on me. He puts the hard work in, tackles well and covers several positions, so if others get injured he offers options. Still probably wouldn't be in my 17 when everyone is fit, but not far off and certainly don't mind seeing him taking up a spot if Brown thinks he deserves it. | |

| I gotta admit I aint too keen on him.
It was funny though cos me and my dads friend were talking about that we are not keen on him, then he suddenly scored. That shut us both up for a few mins. xD

| He is actually a very intelligent player who makes very good runs and is quite adept at handling the ball for a player playing prop.
he is still, learning his trade for us and shows some good touches.
It is wrong to compare him to other players as people have short memories. Andy raleigh was a very good second row for us but was not exactly pulling up tress as a prop. Most of our fansw ere quite critical of his propping ability but we all seem to forget that.

Horne put in a solid display last night. We didn't look weaker in the pack when he came on.Now he needs to be more consistent. He has come up with too many handling errors in the past.

| i warmed to Horne back end of last season and although he doesnt catch the eye he really is a workhorse ... should he be in ahead of others not sure.... but we need to keep these guys we have depth in our squad something we havent had for a while. try super league site and do the head to head for stats our boys are pretty impressive grix vs mathers is a good one. Grix is a very good attacking fullback! | |

| I was very unsure of Horne when he first arrived - never looked too good in what at the time was a struggling Hull side. Had a couple of OK games for us in the first half of last season and didn't look like he was going to get an extension. But then we were down to three props and Horne stuck his hand up and said "I'll have a go" and he played front row against his old team who last season probably had one of the bigger packs in Super League. It was at that point that I realised he was a much better player than I had given him credit for, it's not because he has barn-storming runs like Eorl and Darrell but because he is solid in defence - nobody gets away from him and he puts some decent shots on people, he has a nice little side step that lets him slip through the line sometimes and the guy is physically much bigger than a lot realise. Further to this he is a good utility player who can move from front to second row and if we are short he can even play in the centres which is prett valuable. Given time with training and concentrating on a set position in the squad plus some decent game time I think he could turn into a good player personally as he did towards the back end of last season when he started playing a bit more regularly. Like a lot of people on here I would also like to see Danny Kirmond and Andy Raleigh playing regular first team rugby and we will see them soon, because we need to remember this is a squad game and there are 23 more rounds plus CC games. I'll shut up now | |

| Not sure Raleigh will get near first team this season. Saw him for reserves, didn't do enough even in under 20s. Nice guy though. | |
