HIGHLIGHTS

Found myself with a couple of hours to kill today so i watched the highlights from all the Giants matches on the Super league site, From the first game at Catalans to the last against Wigan, We played some very nice rugby at times, with some top class individual performances, Robinson particularly made some superb breaks in some of the games. If our side is better next year ( and i think it will be ) we will not be far away again, We will need to have our halves sorted of course, but N Brown must have his plans, If there was one area that we looked to lack a bit on the Videos ( and It's not really a criticism ) It was in the aggression side of the game, some teams look a lot more aggressive than us, of course it might just be me. If anyone else has watched them, or is going to , maybe you could post your thoughts, They are well worth the watching and to watch them one after another gives you a fresh slant on the whole team.

You know what the biggest difference ive noticed this season (havent watched the highlights yet) and thats enthusiasm Bo. I used to cringe at some of our kick chases, or there would be 5 mins left and one try in at and the players would just stroll over to form the scrum.

For me thats why we've been winning this season, because the lads believe in themselves and have the enthusiasm to play their balls off.

Some good tries but defence was the key for me last season.The fact that our points conceded has only been bettered once in the last ten years of Super League says it all.

My opinion is that the one who played a major part in that was Moore who really bottled up the middle.With Drew back we will be better on attack,but if they are talking of Robinson moving to hooker then the defence up the middle is going to be weaker.Much will depend on Lunt to make the tackles.

Nathan Brown quite rightly was nominated coach of the season.
