Cracking result, thought it would be a tight game down there. Seems like our away form continues.

Now let's hope for a home game in the fifth round against someone like Barrow pray

Don't think Brett was injured as he scored on 80 mins. He had missed goals in second half though so maybe just gave Davis Hodgson a go!

Not injured. We were magnificent. Quins average. So many top class tries, I hope you all get to see them. Both B Hodgsons were top team tries, Fatz was a beautiful in and out on the winger, just left him for dead. Brown was superb, and Hogy for his support running. We even eased off between 50 and 70 mins. The following was exceptional well over 500 in my eyes and may have been nearer 1000, and all stayed to applaud players. We attacked superbly for most of the game, and defence was excellent apart from poor misses for Clubbs try in 1st half.

I really rate McDermott and I think he has got himself a decent side, so to win so easily twice is very impressive. After the heavy defeat the other week you would have thought they would have been hungrier than ever to put in at least a decent performance in, yet we hammered them again, says a lot of positives for our side.

Eorl is really becoming a top class forward, if he can continue this form the England coach would be insane to leave him out.

Some of the best tries I've seen scored by Fartown in a long time, three of them were pure poetry. The pack really got amongst the Quins and the Halfbacks really showed what they are capable of, easily the best performance by Robbo and Brown this season, along with B Hodgson they looked dangerous every time they ran at the Quins, The pack were emence, and there was a beautiful solo try from Fats, Not one poor performance from any player, The quins were better than a couple of weeks ago but in truth there was only ever going to be one winner.

Don'T know why Finnegan didn't play as he was stripped and warming up with them, B Hodgson took a bit of a knock but i don't think it was serious. That is exactly the kind of football that will swell the numbers of fans , I don't know how many were there today but i would say Half of them were Giants, Well done to everybody, that was a joy to watch and well worth the trip, Far and away the best performance for a long time.

How did Brown do then? On this performance are we all beggining to think he might claim that number 6 shirt for himself for good. I must say it would be nice if he turns out good enough to do that being young and English. Also how was Fatz? not quite been as consistant as last year but opne of my favourite players when he gets going

great comments by the opposition coach

Harlequins head coach Brian McDermott:
"It's massively disappointing. We got beaten by a better team.

"Huddersfield showed up and played better than we did. They defended very, very well.

"It's hard to gain any momentum against the Giants. They've got some stuff going. They are definitely hard to break down."

Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown on captain Brett Hodgson:
"He's an outstanding player in a very important position.

"Certainly having a good full-back improves your team dramatically.

"I think everyone agrees he's one of the best players in England at the moment."

Smile Hats off to McDermott, sign off a good man who can take defeat graciously and have praise for the opposition rather than trying to find excuses and blame, no names mentioned Terry & Brian oops Smile

Brett H was inured. He was helped backto the halfway line. Did anyone notice whether he finished the match or went off?

Eorl has to be one of - if not the - best props in SL at the moment.

Fatz had his best game for quite a while [as did Robbo]. 3 breaks, one of which he scored.

The last try was one of the best you'll ever hope to see. Griff took a leaf out of Eorl's book and passed in the tackle - as did Eorl himself. Wild made a superb break and unselfishly passed inside for Hodgson B to finish off under the posts.

There wasn't a weak link in our team. Even Mr Thaler had a good game - missed loads of offsides [& a blatant forward pass to Mason for him to score] both ways, but let the game flow.

Tansey gave an excellent Giants' monologue pre-match in the local Wetherspoon's [our Ben knew where to find it - can't imagine how!!].

There were so many positives today it was untrue. The match was just SO good to watch.

Even the winner of tomorrow's big two clash will be wary of playing us.

See you at Wembley!!!
