| Finnigan will be the top try scorer in the forwartds and has got a good cahance of being the teams top try scorer.
We dont have an out and out try scorer so in the backs i reckon the tries will be spread around possibly with Hodgson ( B ) coming out on top. | |

Galpharm Stadium Bookmaker Bob Graham launched the Giants Top Try Scorer odds for the 2009 season.
Anybody wishing to place a bet on the top try scorer must do so before the opening game of the season. Bets can be placed at the Galpharm Stadium reception by Saturday 14th February, when the Giants face a trip to Catalans Dragons.
The bet covers all competitive fixtures of the season including Challenge Cup fixtures and every round of Super League. Anybody wanting to place a bet for this competition can do so at the Galpharm Stadium reception prior to the first match of the season. All bets for the top try scorer of 2009 must be placed before the start of the first match.
Fans not wanting to bet on top try scorer can place a variety of bets as part of the game day experience at the Galpharm. These bets will include first try scorer of the match and man of the match.
Paul Whatuira, the leading try scorer for 2008, will be looking for a repeat performance of finishing first, Whatuira is second favourite to repeat his success priced at 7/2.
David Hodgson is the favourite at 3/1
New boy Brett Hodgson is listed at a respectable 8/1 along fans favorites Kevin Brown and Stephen Wild at 10/1.

| I've said in another topic that Finnigan will score 10+ tries this season and that should make him top forward although Raleigh may run him close.
