Walker joins Robins

Hull KR have today confirmed the signing of Adam Walker after agreeing an undisclosed fee with the Giants for the 21 year old prop, who signs on a three year deal.
Giants Managing Director Richard Thewlis was delighted to see that Walker’s future has been sorted:
"I am absolutely delighted that Adam has got himself fixed up with a club for next season and am happy that we have received acceptable compensation. I was very worried that he had gambled and lost on this one as we did offer him a good two year deal but with him ultimately choosing to go into the market place we were due a fee under RFL regulations. Thus for Hull KR to come in at this late stage is great for all concerned and enables Adam to continue as a professional rugby league player which was in my mind in some doubt.”
“He now has the opportunity to establish himself in their squad and we of course have younger props Anthony Mullally, Josh Johnson and Nathan Mason trying to do the same here. Adam leaves with our very best wishes for the future and thanks for his service to the Claret and Gold."

Your thoughts on Walker leaving?

Good luck to him, thought he deserved more game time last season. think he will develop into a decent SL prop, sadly we can't keep them all and in Fairbank and Eden we have better prospects, but good luck to Adam, I think he will do ok at HKR
