The play offs

A win against Catalans and we'll play at home against either Castleford or Crusaders in the 1st round of the play offs. A loss against Catalans and we'll play Hull KR at home. What's your preference? I'm hoping Hull FC can beat Leeds in the last round of SL then it gives us a chance of finishing above Leeds in the league which I can't ever remember happening in my life.

I want Leeds to beat Hull then we get Cas/Crusaders providing we can beat Cats, then Hull play HKR and whoever wins will have had seven bells knocked out of them before we meet them.

The idea that we could be the top west yorkshire team out of 5 is a nice one!!! An idea that Ken Davy has strived to become ever since becoming chairman!!!

But in reality I think Leeds may pip Hull, not sure what team is being sent to France so I can't say it will be a guarenteed 2 points. But at least we're at home for the first game in the Play offs! I think we were a little demoralised after Saints last year as well as very tired. We're due a win in the play offs like they say third time lucky!!!

Wanna try avoid Cas if you ask me cos always give us a good game.

Love to finish above the Whinging Whino's and play Crusaders but a game against Hull KR at our spot would give us chance for revenge after getting screwed last time out.

Whatever way it goes just looking for a good performance in the play offs this time

I'd rather play Cas at the moment rather than Crusaders cos the Welsh outfit gave a good account of themselves last weekend against Saints which flattered the scousers big time.

yeah, sorry I got confused about how the format works. In that case I want Hull to beat Leeds and then we should get them providing they lose to Wigan and we beat Cas or Crusaders. Is that right?

If Hull beat Leeds and we beat Cats then in play offs:-

Wigan v Hull (QPO 1) and
Giants v Cas/Cru (EPO 1) then week 2:-

Loser QPO1 v Winner EPO 1

If we beat Cas/Cru and Hull beat Wigan then we're off to the DW.
If we beat Cas/Cru and Wigan beat Hull then we're off to the KC.

Either way whoever loses the Wigan/Hull game will have been battered before we meet them.

We're certainly in the best shape we've ever been for this time of year. Kear and MacRae tipped us as dark horses for a grand final appearance and we seem to be under the radar a bit. Lets hope we can spring a few surprises.
Unfortunately I'm on hols now and will miss the first play off game but hopefully I'll see the Giants in action again this season. Not that I'm religious but I'll be ing.

So it's Crusaders on Friday night (I think) and providing we win then the losers of Leeds/Wigan a week later.
