Ganson

Thought he was pretty quiet last night and let the game flow for a change. His best performance i've seen for years. Was this because we were never really in doubt of losing and thus not shouting for every 50/50 call?

He let Catalans be miles be miles offside at every PTB. However, he let us get away with the same offence!

In fact, I think he only gave 2 penalties all night - a couple of high shots on our guys. [One of them was on Eorl. If you can do a head tackle on Eorl, it is high and deserves a straight red!!!!]

I even clapped him off at the end and wished him well!

[The lady behind thought I was ill because I wasn't slagging the ref off!]

No major faults from Ganson and I find that hard to say because normally he likes to be the centre of attention. He did let both teams get away with slowing the game down, but to be honest with another game on Monday and then again on Friday that is most definitely to our advantage.

He prob didn't show off because Skysports weren't there.
