Anyone know when his contract is up, I was thinking by and large he has been a bit of a let down this year, He definitly has the class but doesn't always put the effort in for me, I dont really see him as any better than Lawrence, does anyone feel the same or am i losing the plot (as Stevo would say )

But I think the stats you quote highlight the difference

He will go to punch a hole - carry the ball - and put himself about !
A BUSY - get in the game- in yer face player

De Vere - less up front - goes about his business - and totally unselfish as a team player

My one criticism - tiny I admit - and rarely -is that Fatz does tend to go for glory SOMETIMES and has tendency to"ghost " around the pitch like chris chapman did at times!

Cant say I saw any indications of that in De Vere when back at his best ""

I wouldn't put him in the same class as Devere, and certainly not Devery. I'm not really knocking him I just think he has been a bit disappointing this season, and i agree he does tend to hang on to the ball a bit to much.

Fatz this season has been a shadow of himself compared to last season.

i think hes been more defensive minded this season, probably not his fault

Totally agree mate ,showed his class today.

He was back to his best today, if only he could have played like that all season.

He was awesome today, sound in defence as always, but also some blockbusting runs and a quality pass for D Hodgson's try, completely fooled the Wigan defence with limited time and space.

Gutted for him and the team. After being fairly lucky with injuries this season, our luck has well and truly run out recently.

Jeez we've had a major injury nearly every week just lately.

Just something a mate told me, apparently they spoke to someone who has some cntacts at the club. I didn't see when he could have broken it to be fair, maybe he slipped in the shower afterwards!

He looked fine in the bar post-match.
