Gone to Hull KR on a one month loan scratch scratch very strange decision. I know both Murphy and McGillvary are playing well but George is still an excellent rotation player. Weird.

Pretty sure this will down to saving money, with the poor crowds, and the poor take up of ST's,expect anything to happen as we have to balance the books. Are we a feeder club for HKR?

Luke George did not do much wrong, but wingers have to be more like back row forrards these days.Murphy deserves his place.

No doubt about Murphy and McGillvary, both having outstanding seasons. It must be to save money because I can't think of any other reason he would be loaned out. He's not exactly lacking in match fitness, and whenever he has played this season he has given the side a real boost in pace. Thought we would need him with the tough run of games coming up, especially if any of the backs get injured!

All I can think is we keep loaning HKR players in the hope that someone over there might persuade Mick Dobson to drop his wage demands and join us eventually. He wanted £160k p.a,glad we did not fall for that,no way is he worth that. His defence is pony & trap at the best of times, and he's not exactly Cooper Cronk is he.

That said,Dobson would be good for us,as he knows playing half is mostly about putting runners into gaps, not just panicking and opting for a show and go.

I can see why he wants game time at the top level. We have Murphy and Jerry who are first choice at the moment and Dawson sitting in the reserves too. George can prove himself at HKR like Fergy did and return to a starting spot if all goes well.
