They are some interesting questions.
Clearly on the evidence of the Bradford game we do play better with Brough in the side. He adds massively to our kicking game. Turns the opposition around and those kicks and chases will help the forwards out. Therefore without him the forwards need to work harder and then perhaps become less effective.
We have to learn to play well without him. I would be tempted to 'rest' him again fairly soon and train without him for a week and see if we can have a better performance than the Bradford game as a result of proper preparation without him.
Jerry and Brett have done well this season and deserve to be at the top at the moment, but I guess Danny will move up after the Leeds votes are in.
Others than I would have thought would be on the list by now are Leroy who has been solid and done a few clever things and Chan who started very well like Brett.
