| What team would you pick? Who deserves a rest? Should we play full strength ready for Catalans away the week after? | |

| We need to use our strength in depth. At this point in the season we should be giving people the odd games off and this seems like the perfect opportunity to give others a chance to impress. Just as long as that is what they do, unlike at Batley last season. | |

| He's rested Eorl & Jerry, which I agree with.KB out too to get over niggles.
I thought it might be a good chance to give our halves a break, but they shouldn't have much tackling to do in this one really.
Luke Robinson deserves a weekend off too.

| Having seen the squad it looks like usual backs with Murphy for Jerry.
A bit of Grunt up front with LOD, Mason & Fa'alogo and the experience of Gillie.
I suspect Robbo will start, but all being well may not return after interchange, also think we will see Moore at loose in the Kevin Brown role, keeping playing pattern much the same.
I suspect that Cording & Molloy will both play in with Chan & Bruno also rested. I just cannot see Swinton living with our backs.
I do not think it will be a hundred pointer, or even close, I wouldn't really enjoy running up the score like that anyway.
40/50-6 or something of that ilk with us coasting through the second half.

| Got to be ruthless today, remember Batley last year,we started off soft, they grew in confidence on the back of that, and it was nearly a total embarrassment.
I agree if we shift the ball out quick this aft our centres should have a field day.
Swinton are a famous old club, will be good to see the blue & white once again in Huddersfield. Some memories come flooding back, the old Station Road ground, massive it was, used to host all types of rep games including Ashes tests.
A mixed race guy from Wales who played off half for Swinton, once had a cracking game up at Fartown, think his name was Danny Wilson,he was the father of later to be very famous soccer player Ryan Giggs.
Also remember Swinton signing a Welsh RU international half back called Terry Holmes in the 80's and it captured the imgination of the folks over there and their crowds were up to the 5k mark for a period.Holmes wasn't great at RL I seem to recall, but just the novelty of a star guy out of RU 5N.
Saying all that I hope we run up a big score today.

| Pretty sure he went to Swinton first, but then he did eventually end up at Odsal. He made very little impact in RL overall.
The novelty factor of him coming out of yawnion did boost the Swinton crowds back then though,so for that reason alone it was probably worth it,if only for a short spell.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Holmes Think I must be. Can't think who it was now,but recall Swinton getting a 5k crowd at Station Road for the RU players debut.Must have been the late 80' s or early 90's as they moved out of SR in 1992.

| I remember going to watch them at station road against Bradford Northern when Hanley played for Bradford. Not sure if Swinton had this signing then or not as I was only a little kid. I do remember the big open terrace and the crowd was reasonable that day. | |

Aye that's it come to think. It was Holmes debuting for Bradford at Station Road Swinton that drew the 5k attendance.
