| Mind you Leeds have knocked spots off most teams this season. Saints/Leeds and Catalan seem to be a class apart.
Apart from our 9 game run last season our ability to string two decent performances together seems to be a problem

| I know this is going to sound stupid, but we looked like a team without a coach. Throwing the ball about but completely void of ideas, no yards made with ball in hand, missing tackles, allowing Burrows and Mcguire to run us in circles (however, I cant help but say, these two, along with numerous others, were a class apart), generally too many faults to write on here tonight, as CA said, we were dire. Neil the drummer was blaming the ref after the first half, but to be honest, we were sat in the north stand (I won the tickets on real radio) and apart from the very odd mistake, I thought he had a decent game. | |

| leeds scored one try on there own the rest were of penaltys,it was a crap game but the inconsistencies of the ref were shocking you cannot win a game with no possession? leeds were the better side, but we just want a fair crack. | |

| we need a new coach and fast , or at least a name so the players and fans can see into the future , too long without a coach and things might get bad..if we aint getting a new coach till next season , tell us now and at least the fans and players will know the predicament we are facing | |

I agree with that, it must be unresting the Lads a bit.

Any players in particular or just as a unit CA? I don't like to blame any individuals. As a team we seemed uncomfortable with the ball in our hands we were unable to put more than 3 passes together without either dropping the ball, passing behind a player or over his head. There were times during the game when we were defending but we looked like startled rabbits caught in the headlights but having said that Leeds were clinical, confident and looked comfortable with the ball. A couple of other observations When you have one 2nd rower playing prop another 2nd rower playing hooker scrum half playing stand off stand off playing scrum half and you're sat in the most uncomforable stand we knew it wasn't going to be a good night.

That seems to be the general opinion ,but this is where a good coach comes in to his own, the most important thing in coaching IMO is getting the best out of each individual player, getting them to gel together, and wanting to really play for each other and the club. Whatever MIllwards skills as a tactical coach were is open to opinion, but the players looked like they wanted to win for him.
