Hull FC talk and predictions

Not a knee jerk reaction, but I would like to see one or two changes to the lineup for the game. We know Keal and Michael are very likely going to miss this one, but apart from that I think Kirmond and Patrick should be brought into the 17 with Eorl starting from the bench.

We need to see better interplay between the halves and kick intelligently to exploit McGilvary's pace. I think it will be a cracking match and a tough one to call, but I'll say Giants just.

I can see Patrick definitely getting a game if Keal and Bruno are out. I'd expect the other to be Molloy as he as been in the 19 both times. Then Kirmond and Raleigh moving into the 19. It does mean Gilmour moving to centre and Faiumu sharing the hooking role. I think Simpson might be another week away and Ferguson a couple of weeks yet.

Hopefully they will be prepared properly for this game and then we should win by 10.

Fartown 26 - 16 Hull

Hope to see a good crowd down there seen as its our first home game of the season. We need to see a big improvement from Saturday though to keep people coming through the turnstiles.

I'm going to go for Giants to win 24-16

For an opening home game to the season you would hope for getting around the 10k mark. However I am not so confident because of people's finances etc...

Can't make it being a Sunday, so very disappointed. Not sure we'll get a win. Very unsure of what kind of performance we'll get. Lunt was poor on Saturday and the hooking role worries me.

After last Saturday, I'm saying nowt. I think that as Cas had put a few inexperienced youngsters in and they cained us, it's a hard one to call.

Who is going then?

I'll be going as always. Would like to see Simpson in the team if he comes through tonights reserve game well. Not sure what crowd to expect but i'm sure Nathan will have the boys chomping at the bit to get them back on track.

Brown has already said it will be the same 19 as last week, but they have been warned. If the injury doubts don't make it then Patrick and Molloy will get a spot.
