2011 kits

What would you like to see for our home and away kits? I would assume the home kit will be claret and gold but in what style? What colours would you like to see next year for our away kit?

Not bothered unless they are going to either make them out of quality materials or sell them at a more value for money price. What happened to only changing them every two years?

Hoops! Commercial sense really l see more of last seasons shirts on matchday, thay says something. Blue and white away for town & fax angle, given matches at the shay.

I'd like to see a collar cos this years neck is blinkin awful. In fact I shall have to invest in more leisure wear / tee shirts if next years shirt has the same neck as this years. Moan over.

For the home shirt it would be great to have a C&G retro look but doubt this will happen.
For the away shirt we should return to a white or black shirt with C&G trim. No more blue please.

away. All Black with claret and gold "V"

ps l do not like all this rubbery stuff on the shirts. the last white shirt did not have any of this and was the best quality shirt we have had. more of the same please

Very true!! After seeing the video on YouTube of the Half Monty by some of our lads I would go with this one!!!

If not like Boomer's idea of the claret and gold V - either black or white. One of my favourite designs was the white shirt we had with Fartown written across the shoulders which I believe has a V on the front. Have it somewhere.

Whatever the design lets not have any blue - havent like either blue shirt and have not bought either one.

We play in claret and gold, the only team with these colours therefore should not clash so no reason to use any other colours IMO.

Well whatever they wear lets hope we have a successful year with lots of people taking advantage of the freeze on the season tickets for next year.

Like us to go to a mainly gold jersey for the 2011 homer.

Alternative - who knows it could be anything - anything at all.Black is boring,but Eorls jersey proved if the design's right it can be a winner.White does suit a C&G trim.Last seasons white alternative was a corker.Thought the bluey one this time was okay,but didn't buy it all the same.

Not keen on this years C&G design,didn't purchase that neither.

Guessing i'm in the minority but, although it breaks with tradition, i love both this years jerseys and would be more than happy to keep them as they are.


If pushed though i would go for an away strip thats a complete rip-off off the Aussie jerseys so Billy Slater feels at home when he eventually realises that his lifes not complete untill he's lined up for the Giants

Any news ?, are we changing supplier, will there be one shirt or two

Not sure on the supplier but the University won't be our main sponsors so a brand new home and alternative I guess too!!

From what i've heard, the home shirt is very much like last season with gold sleeves and the away shirt is mainly white. To be shown to the public on Mon 13th Dec at the launch night.

I am pretty disapointed with how late 2011 shirt is. I emailed the club when our main sponsor was annunced asking how long it would be before the launch. I did this mainly because i am going to visit family in OZ on tuesday and wanted to take the new shirts as christmas gifts... doesnt look like this is happening. Then again i did get told that they can ship to oz for 15 squid ! its not the same as delivering in person !!

bloody innflation... it was only a tenner last year when mine was sent out
