Of the new guys who's impressed you the most?

Fa'alogo - Didn't see much of the grunt I was expecting but took his try well.
Gilmour - Gave away a few penalties but did his fair share of tackling.
Grix - Nothing special but solid.
Horne - As above

All will get better with more game time with new team mates but did anyone stand out for you from these guys?

Not especially, Fa'alogo probably looked the best of the bunch. It's too early to say, but think Gilmour will settle in nicely once he is used to the fact that he is not playing for one of the big boys anymore and therefore will get penalised every now and again!!

Out of the new boys I think Horne made a very solid start, it will be interesting to see what happens with the back row when Wild, Kirmond and Finnegan are fit.

I thought that Fa'alogo put in a decent debut tbh. The others did ok to.

I dont know, I dont think Fa'alogo did much to impress me!
Gilmour did minus the penalities!
And I havent really been a fan of Cudjoe but he really impressed me on Friday

Would say none of the new recruits looked out of place in terms of teamwork especially in defence.
Slightly disappointed with Grix who seemed to run at the line too often making little ground. Thought he may have offered more attacking options.
Plenty of time though.

This is just it, trial and error for the first few matches, just finding strengths/weaknesses and so on.
That is unless you are Andy Raleigh and he doesn't do weaknesses lol!! Smile

Like the look of Gilly and Fa'alogo, they both run the angles out wide and seem to come into the line at just the right time. Both will have big seasons for us IMO.

Horne didn't play as well as he did at Cas but still did ok, Grix as said before was tackled with the ball too much for my liking but once gets upto speed will be another option for us.

The one that stood out and impressed me the most was that young fullback we had playing is he from the Academy? Wink

Fa'alogo was fine but still not match fit, will offer great power on the edges when he is. Massive biceps too!

From my view I didn't get to see much of the game but I saw how gutted Keith was at his injury. I also saw that everytime Fa'alogo was on the bench he had an ice pack on his ankle, he was feeling it. He wasn't 100%. But when you see who was hanging around not in the dressing room we do have quite a squad.

I also saw how annoyed Robbo and Gilly were at their sin binning. Thought I was in line for a bottle to the head at one point.

Everyone did OK for me, and some were more than OK. Apart from the new men ,I thought A Raleigh did a superb job, once he adjusts his running style to that of a prop rather than a rangy second row, he could really make a impact, Bit like Peacock. I thought his work rate was superb.
