| Just find it hard to understand why, the televised NL1 game on a Thursday night gets 2 - 3 times more attendances than their normal league fixtures. Yet on the other hand SL clubs attendances drop when they are on TV apart from possibly Leeds and Wigan. Looking at the Celtic Crusaders tonight (Thursday). Too far away for away support on a Thursday night so all the folk there must be locals. Normally at a guess their home crowd is around 1200 but tonight they had 3575 give or take the last couple of digits. And it was a horrible night, throwing it down all the time, so if it had been good weather they might have had another 500/1000. I know last week Widnes got 8000 plus, but take away the 2000 free kids tickets for Liverpool schools and they still got 6000. Therefore do SL marketing managers need to get their fingers out, or go and seek some advice from their NL1 counterparts. ??? | |

No NL1 side will be ready as whoever comes in will have to improve their squad by axing at least 50% of the present team, and importing cast-offs from existing SL clubs. Then hope they can stabilize in the first year then push on from there. | |

Every weekly round of Super League, you are given the chance to vote for the best 3 players of each game during the season. After ever SL game there will be a thread on the forum where you can vote. 3 points to your best player of the game, 2 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd. The points are added up each week until the end of the season when we find out the www.giants.co.nr player of the season.
