| 3 Cudjoe improved defensive display and looking a proper threat out wide
2 B Hodgson captain marvel, assured and led by example against a very experienced Bulls side
1 D Fa'alogo steady debut, worked hard and grabbed a try

| 3 - Cudjoe - I remember me and Rod talking about how this kid was the future of the game a few years back- How right we were!
2 - B Hodgson - Pin point accuracy, a bit rough around the edges today but awesome nonetheless.
1 - Lunt - Played his skin off today. Looks like we could have another superb player coming through.

| 3 - Cudjoe, great game, two well taken tries and nice tackle to hold Reardon up at the end.
2 - Lunt, very busy, nice try, think Drew will find it hard getting in the team over him.
1 - B Hodgson, last season he started slowly, if there is more to come this year he has man of steel nailed on.

| 3. B hodgson awesome as always and unfortunate with the bounce not to have a try himself
2. S lunt really effective (Scott who? mrs clock face giant)
1.L Cudjoe If he carries on like that think we'll see him in an England shirt sooner rather than later

| 3 Raleigh - Took more hit ups than anyone else at a guess and defended soundly. Put his body on the line non stop!!
2 Hodgson - Ok he fluffed a try but his quick thinking put both Cudjoe's tries on a plate for him. As usual very reliable at the back under high balls.
1 Cudjoe - This guy's going to play for England sooner rather than later the way he's progressing

| Tough one to pick three from so many strong showings for the first game of a season, but;
3 Brett Hodgson - purely for creating two tries, the second a sublime kick that almost matched Browns in the CC semi.
2 Lunt - what a find this lad is, graft graft graft and no little skill
1 Raleigh - "stand in" prop who plays with both his heart and his head and more to come from him I believe

| 1) Raleigh - massive minutes and a great defensive and offensive effort. Contract renewal year, get him signed up for 3 more
2)Lunt, Will be England hooker in a year or so. Get him signed up long term as well
3) Brett Hodge, captain fantastic with the great vision for 2 trys, again contract renewal this year give him another 2.

| 3-Lunty, fantastic usual try from dummy half, never stopped working in defence must have hit 30+ tackles
2-Raleigh, Moved up to prop this season and as mentioned before looked best prop on show, took ball up hard and looked for offloads, put body on line time after time.
1-B Hodgson, Captains knock, put Leroy in for 2 walk in tries and positionally always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
Leroy unlucky not to be in my top 3, great performance from all the squad after losing Mason early doors and defending for 20 mins with only 12 men, looked awesome and the Bulls couldn't break us down even with "Same old Ganson always cheating" lol

| so many could be in my top 3 but here it goes.
3- Leroy Cudjoe.... Like many people have already said, he is really working hard towards that England shirt and after his performance against the bulls on Friday night, he will be in one sooner rather than later.
2- Brett Hodgson.... Captain fantastic is back with a bang! Ran circles around the Bulls all night.
1- Shaun Lunt.... Give this guy the number 9 England Shirt! Top class hooker. Never stopped working and he amazingly looks better than ever!
Raleigh was a close 4th as he never stopped working all game. Took some big hits but gave them back too! Exciting year is ahead of us after watching that on Friday.

| About 1 to 2 days before the next game so you can do the Bulls game and work the Hull FC game out before this Saturday. Cheers | |
