| Hope they put up a good performance tomorrow, It's looking hopeful with Catalan doing so well, one of the good things that could come out of a second French team might be a much stronger French international side, I'd love to see them get back to where they were in the Fifties and early sixties, when they were as good as anyone, possibly better. | |

Thats the problem with Rugby League, on the international stage its useless with only a handfull of teams worth there salts. Id love to see it be more competitive. |

Id love to see it be more competitive. Yea, a strong French and Welsh side would be a good start, the French as i say were a match for anyone, the Aussies didn't get much change out of them

so without bias what is better quality NRL or SL? Hard to seperate as they both give differing qualities of entertainment imho. What about if superleague clubs had to include at least 1 member of any partaking international team throughout the world?

so without bias what is better quality NRL or SL? I watch 2/3 NRL games each week on the TV, and in my opinion there is very little to pick between the teams in the NRL and SL, simply because the SL has a generous sprinkling of Southern hemisphere players included in our teams, giving a leveling up of standards. Without doubt if these players were not over here, our standards would not be as high, as Australia have a far greater depth of talent coming through their junior ranks. England can always put up a challenging squad internationally, but the Aussies could find enough quality for three teams such is their strength in depth.

so without bias what is better quality NRL or SL? By and large the quality of player in the NRL is better ,however i would say that the spectackle of super league is best, in my opinion it is more spontanious and off the cuff. with generally a better atmosphere.

| the top eight in nrl are probalby not a lot better than our saints and leeds etc, but the main difference is in the poorer teams , they are probably a lot better than our teams like cas and hudds :P
plus they have plenty of backup for any position in their national team, we dont

| how many full backs have england got ??? just look at the choice the aussies have , its because their league is not full of foreigners and so have created a good breeding ground , hopefully this will happen in blighty in the next few years when the overseas quotas are dropped down to just a few | |

Every weekly round of Super League, you are given the chance to vote for the best 3 players of each game during the season. After ever SL game there will be a thread on the forum where you can vote. 3 points to your best player of the game, 2 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd. The points are added up each week until the end of the season when we find out the www.giants.co.nr player of the season.
