Not condoning any sort of violence at all but considering the circumstances (racism and if you read between the lines this guy had been winding Faiumu up earlier in the evening) punishment does seem severe imo.

Tbh if they can stop people coming in for DUI violations i would have thought that with an 18 month suspended sentence hanging over him he might be lucky if he does get it!
