GALPHARM SCOREBOARD TO BE REPLACED BY BIG SCREENThe 13-year tenure of the Galpharm Stadium scoreboard has come to an end as the ground prepares for the impending arrival of the new big screen.
Scaffolding was set up and a crane was brought in to bring down the old scoreboard, which will now be taken away for use as spare parts around the world, with a brand new 29 square metre Big Screen arriving later this week.
Director of Business Development Sean Jarvis told the Club's official website that he can't wait for the big screen to arrive.
"The introduction of this technology gives us a tremendous amount of scope to improve the matchday experience, with new possibilities including competitions and animations."
The arrival of the new screen is only part of the summer renovation that the Stadium is currently undergoing, with the pitch now totally reseeded. The new big screen will be in place for the Giants next home game against Harlequins RL on Sunday 22nd June, kick off 3.00pm.
