| So who's going on Saturday? Have you taken advantage of the free coach travel? What are you expecting from the game and are you bold enough to make a score prediction? It's the start of the season so let's get this forum going again. | |

| I have other commitments on a Saturday otherwise I would be on that coach. It's a great offer and hopefully we will have plenty cheering the team on.
I think we are pacing ourselves this season, whilst Saints already look strong. They will win this battle, but come the play-offs or challenge cup and we will get our own back then.

| Great gesture by Q Connect to put on the coaches i hope as many people have taken advantage. To be honest just can't ait for the season to start. I think both teams will be evenly matched but saints will probably have the edge 18-12 saints. As long as its a good performance it should not matter. Does anyone know which kit will be worn? | |

| Never in my wildest dreams did I think we could win like that.
Take a bow Anderson, take a bow the 17 on the field today.
We should not fall in love with ourselves over one great win, but we can now take plenty of confidence into the next few games. | |

| WOW! What a dominating show from our boys. I don't want to get carried away after last season but if that's a sign of things to come then we're in for one hell of a year. | |

| Never in my wildest dreams did I see that one coming, a great performance against a team who should be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, forget how well/poor Saints performance was we totally dominated and put to the sword what was put in front of us and you can't ask for more than that. The signs are there that Anderson has a pack more than capable of totally demolishing most teams , and the backs showed they have the ability to take full advantage of this. Hopefully we can kick on from here and mount a genuine challenge for honours this season.

| To me we seemed to play a different style of rugby to our NB days. The forwards unloaded the ball more in the tackle in that game than any other game last season. Brown's style of play was very much percentage rugby which is a safer way to play but gives you less opportunity to create space. Baloo's style is more like Warrington's imo that will mean we'll probably score more points but we'll naturally make more mistake ie losing the ball in the tackle attempting offloads. Eorl was brilliant at offloading until NB turned up and must have cut that out of his game. Faiumu was the only player i can recall offloading in uneasy situations under NB but on saturday it wouldn't surprise me if every forward made an offload in the tackle. | |

| I agree, plenty of offloads, but it was made easier because the Saints tackling was rubbish. Now that might be due to our new found size, power and strength. Lets see if they can do it again against London. | |
