Huddersfield Giants can confirm the status of all their off contract players as follows
David Fa'alogo - No contract offered.
Adam Walker - Contract offered - player rejected terms and the club have invoked RFL regulations which stipulate that any club acquiring his services pay a compensation fee equivalent to the six years development that club have put into him
Scott Moore - No contract offered.
Ross Peltier - No contract offered.
Tommy Lee - Contract offered - player rejected terms and has chosen to explore the market.
The club would like to thank all departing players for their contribution to the claret and gold and wish them well for the future.

Well Tommy Lee has joined London on a two year deal.

I can't see anyone wanting to pay for Walker, so what happens then?

The others I'm not too fussed over, although if Doof ever stays injury free he is a quality forward.

There are a few more i would have liked to have seen go myself but hey ho.
The young lad from Cas sounds like a decent prospect, hope he gets stuck in and takes his chance, should help to alleviate the need for swapping players about when a winger gets injured, I would still have a SO at the top of my shopping list and i expect the club will be doing what it can to acquire one, If nothing materialises i expect it will be Grix, who does a half decent job when the forwards manage to get any forward motion, Unfortunately half decent is not going to take us forward so hopefully someone will be unearthed , i live in hope.

Agree with Bo, Grix does half decent job but if we don't recruit another class halfback we will just end up with another half decent season!!

Not renewed my season ticket just yet cos 300 is alot of money and want to see who we actually sign cos cant deal with another season like last season.

seat deadline has gone but if someone has my seat sure there will be lots to choose from ;-0)

Anderson has said a half back is a target, to go to the press and say that must surely mean we've got one, but won't announce it yet for some reason, otherwise his already low credibility is only goes to fall even further. Perhaps his comments were just to try and sell a few more season tickets, hope not though, please please please say we've signed some class half back and another big forward. If we've got those then we'll have the squad to take the top sides on. If the players have the winning mentality will remain to be seen.

Renewed my tickets on the seat deadline day, so fingers crossed more quality signings in the pipeline and a renewed vigour from the current players ready for next season.

Maybe the new half back is still in the play offs and would rather the season finishes before its announced so his current fans don't give him any stick. And by play offs I do mean the NRL too Wink

If we have a class halfback coming into our squad then will be down to renew, thats how important it is to the club, reckon a few other fans are waiting to see where we going for next season before renewing too

Grix is a terrible no.6 & one of the main reasons we are going backwards. Any other club who is seriously after a trophy just wouldn't give him a sniff of a job. His agent would get laughed out of the boardroom at Wigan, Wire, etc.

I'm of that mind myself FP I have Sunday membership at the Golf club, so wont be getting another Season ticket, That said if they put together a decent side with a good partner for Brough and a pack that has at least a bit of aggression, then i know i will be down for the majority of games, Prob cost me more in the long run but can't kick a 60 habit altogether.

I watched the Bulldogs/Souths semi final replay last night online & Phil Gould was doing the summarising. He said...

"The forwards are the ones who win you rugby matches, the backs just decide by how many."

That summed up exactly what is wrong with our playing roster this season imo.
