| If he wasn't such a successful man I would be questioning his sanity, To keep pumping money into an outfit like the Giants , you have to wonder what keeps him going, A decade or more , nothing won and nothing likely to be won, In fact on todays showing you can't see us getting another point all season, from here on we are just making up the numbers.
Today's effort was an embarrassment to me, and Iv'e put nothing in other than the price of a ticket, How that lot can look him in the eye after the game i don't know, there were two or three players trying today, and they weren't trying very hard, the rest stole their pay as far as i am concerned. To lose to a side like Wigan or Catalan is one thing but to lose like we have been doing to sides made up of everyone's cast offs is something else.
So as far as i can see KD might just as well have a bonfire in his back garden with his money, it will have roughly the same effect, The only other thing i can suggest is to sack whoever it is who buys the players, he is a disaster for the most part.

| I'm guessing signings are done by general agreement from several people. The coach, the board and the chief exec, surely collectively they have to take responsibility for the signings. However, I think the squad is much better than their current position suggests, but they have lost all self belief and let their heads go down very quickly. Just look at our Grix reacted to his first mistake today. | |

| That would be the CEO,the same one that would not give Brett Hodgson a 2 year deal because according to him he was over the hill. | |

Well that was clearly a big mistake. Thinking the current man of steel was not worth two years was barking. I bet that if we had kept him we would be the club with trophies in the cabinet now.

I think BH was worth keeping too but I'm not sure even that would've brought us trophies. We need a 6 & a 13 & at least 2 specialist props who are mean & hungry or else I'm afraid we will still be waiting for a pot. I will say this though. I firmly believe that if we had got Todd Carney for our stand off half when we went after him...with him at 6 & Brough at 7 I do honestly think we could've got the CC by now at the very least & built from there. But we didn't & that's that. We need fewer squad players & more game winners. JMO.

| Todd would have been great, but there was nothing the club could have done about his visa. Brett was quality for us and is quality for Wire, he is like an extra half back when attacking the opposition line. | |

Oh yeah you're right it was no-one's fault at the club that TC didn't make it over here. That was down to the Home Office. I saw Carney play for Cronulla a couple of weeks ago & I'm not kidding it was an absolute MASTERCLASS in stand off play. I was absolutely spitting chips that we were so close to having him in the claret & gold.

It was a real shame right enough but does that mean we have stopped looking and trying, It will be so much harder now with the money that's flowing around in Oz, Maybe we should be looking in the second grade comps, that's where tomorrows first grade players are, the first step is some one who can recognise talent and potential rather than going for big names who are well past their best, Then you have to have a coach who can bring the best out in them, and whatever N Brown was he was very good at that. don't know if Anderson will be or not, we shall see. I know i for one will not be buying another season ticket till i see what sort of squad we have for next season, I am not inspired buy what we have signed so far, we seem to be just swapping one average player for another. The exceptions to this of course were Devere aand Hodgson, they proved they were good enough, just not good enough for us.
