| NB has been relieved of his position as head coach,Paul Anderson steps up.
Can't say I'm shocked.Shame it's ended this way for Nathan, there have been many highlights during his tenure. He certainly moved the team onto a new improved level in his first couple of seasons.Defensively we became very strong and committed, back in those days, plus we had B.Hodgson igniting our attack
Suppose the writing was on the wall for NB though when we faded out for long periods in the previous campaign and also repeating the fade out again this year.
The first thing I predict we will see is much more aggression from our pack on Sunday vs Wakefield. That was definitely evident when PA temporarily stepped up after J.Sharp's removal.

| Shame it has ended this way, but it needed to. This season is now all about getting ready for next season. In away the pressure is off Anderson and the players, no-one expects much at all.
Brown will have plenty of positives to take away regular top four finishes and a Wembley appearance. The most successful coach in god knows how long.

| It was inevitable DL , I doubt there is another Super league club where he would have lasted as long as he has, It is a shame ( as you say ) but it seems that the players also have had enough, you have to think that it is pretty much self inflicted really. After the way he brought on some of our young players in his first two years ,he seems to me to have kicked himself out of a job, still i expect he will be getting paid. shame he didn't go of his own accord, and right to the bitter end it was still some one elses fault apparently. | |
